We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to join our Commercial team for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover.
Responsibilities include:
1. Reviewing and negotiating contractual terms aligned with our Commercial Policy, including drafting support.
2. Monitoring project pipelines and managing priorities according to business strategy.
3. Mitigating commercial risks and resolving issues.
4. Reporting on contract performance as part of the wider Commercial and Legal department led by Civica’s General Counsel.
Requirements:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with internal stakeholders at all levels and key customer contacts.
* Experience in IT services and familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.
* Experience working within the defence sector, particularly with IT-related DEFCONs and defence procurement processes.
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
* Understanding of contract law and drafting skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a small team with a proactive attitude.
