Nursery Room Leader, Bristol, £28,017 pa + Benefits, Mon-Fri, 40 hours, Permanent, Full Time
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join a friendly Nursery Group with opportunities across the Bristol area. With modern and spacious facilities offer a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and learn through play.
As the team leader, you will play a vital role in the development of the children and the motivation of the staff within your room. You will lead by example, serving as a role model for the team, and ensuring the safety, care, and education of the children to the highest standard at all times. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising and engaging children during playtime
2. Facilitating learning and play activities for children
3. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
4. Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members
5. Maintaining high standards of operation
6. Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the team's success
To be considered for this role, you must have at least a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent. You should also have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an early years setting and a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Requirements:
7. Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent qualification
8. Experience working and playing with children
9. Proactive and motivated approach to work
10. Strong leadership and organisational skills
11. Professionalism and ability to work well in a team
12. Effective communication and active listening skills
