Carer/Personal Assistant – Female Only (6-18hrs weekly)

About the Role
I am looking for a female carer for a local Portsmouth lady in her own home. We are a small team of hand-picked carers, no agency involved, just us! We need a couple of kind, caring local people to join us. It’s hourly pay with paid holiday. We really want someone local to help her live her best life at home. Liz is an independent, caring and bubbly lady, who loves to look good and enjoy life.
Liz has cerebral palsy and is a full-time electric wheelchair user. Liz also has a speech impediment. She lives at home with her daughter and her cat Tiger. This is a home environment role and is a friendly, lively atmosphere.
Liz and her daughter have a close relationship and she likes to be present for her as much as she can, which includes shopping trips, attending appointments, and time just the two of them.
This role requires personal care, hoisting, housework, and attending appointments and days out with Liz.
Hours for this role are as follows in shift work; you’re expected to be able to do both:
1. 09:30-15:30
2. 15:30-21:30
This is also a need to cover sickness and holidays. The odd 12-hour shift may be required for outings further afield and longer appointments.
This is a Monday-Friday and weekend role.
Approx hours: 6-18 hours per week
