Teaching Personnel is looking for energetic and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to start in September 2025 in SEN and SEMH schools. This role focuses on supporting children through active learning, PE, and play activities, helping them develop physical, social, and emotional skills.
* Supporting children and young people with SEN and SEMH through active play, PE lessons, and physical activities
* Encouraging physical development, coordination, and teamwork
* Assisting with behaviour management during active sessions in a calm and positive way
* Helping pupils build confidence and social skills through structured and unstructured play
* Working alongside teachers and therapists to deliver engaging physical activities that support individual needs
* Experience or a keen interest in working with children with SEN/SEMH in an active role
* Energetic, patient, and encouraging with a positive attitude
* Good communication and ability to build trust with children
* Flexible and adaptable to different needs and settings
* DBS check or willingness to obtain one
* Variety of SEN and SEMH school placements starting in September
