About the Role

As ECT French Teacher, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that build pupils’ confidence in communication and develop strong foundations for GCSE success. You will be supported to teach a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:

* Confident speaking and listening through structured practice and purposeful conversation

* Secure vocabulary and grammatical accuracy over time

* Strong reading and translation skills using increasingly challenging texts

* Accurate and expressive writing through modelling, scaffolding and feedback

* Exam confidence through deliberate practice, clear routines and strong retrieval

Pupils explore themes linked to everyday life and wider global issues, while developing cultural understanding and strong language habits.
