A lovely private household is seeking a skilled and reliable temporary chef/housekeeper to cover their permanent staff for 15 days this summer. The successful professional will be responsible for preparing and cooking lunch daily for the client, with all ingredients and clear instructions provided. Additional duties will include making drinks throughout the day, including a daily protein shake, and unpacking and storing the weekly food delivery on Monday morning. On the 29th, housekeeping duties will be required, including general cleaning of the home such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting, as well as washing and tumble drying bedding, towels, and clothing. The role also includes stacking and emptying the dishwasher, restocking cupboard items as needed (all supplies provided), checking for post and deliveries, and managing the bins and recycling. This is a well-supported, short-term position suited to a professional with high standards, a proactive mindset, and a calm, can-do attitude.
