Position Summary
You will lead the PMO End to End Marketing function and support delivery of integrated marketing programmes. You will work closely with marketing, commercial, medical, supply and external partners to plan, prioritise and track projects from concept to market. 1. Program Governance & Orchestration: Establish and lead the transformation management framework. Define program milestones, manage interconnected workstreams (process, tech, people), and maintain the master roadmap for the 'future-ready' marketing initiative.
2. Operating Model Governance: Establish and enforce decision frameworks through implementation for key trade-offs (global vs local, automation vs compliance, speed vs rigor), ensuring consistent and scalable operating model execution across markets.
3. Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central connector between Marketing, Tech/Digital, Medical/Legal/Compliance (MLR), and local market leadership. Ensure all functions are marching to the same drumbeat and dependencies are actively managed.
4. Benefits Realization & Tracking: Own the program dashboard. Track and report on the actual realization of the transformation's business cases including KPIs – e.g., tool usage, process compliance, behaviour change) and drive the implementation of targeted interventions (training, incentives, market enablement
5. Risk & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify roadblocks, resource bottlenecks, or resistance to change across global and local teams. Develop robust mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues to senior leadership with proposed solutions.
6. Resource & Budget Management: Oversee the allocation of resources (budget, internal talent, and external consultants/vendors) across the various transformation workstreams to ensure maximum ROI and efficient delivery.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Design and execute a comprehensive communication cadence. Keep executive sponsors informed of progress while ensuring broader marketing teams understand the 'why', 'what', and 'when' of the transformation.
8. Quality Assurance of Delivery: Ensure that the new workflows, LLM-enabled tools, and operating models designed by the team are rigorously tested, piloted, and validated before broad global-to-local rollouts.
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, project management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project or programme management within pharmaceutical, biotech, consumer health or related industries.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects involving marketing and commercial teams.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, including experience with project plans, Gantt charts or equivalent tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Right to work and based in the United Kingdom; this role is hybrid with an expectation to be on-site part-time (typically 2–3 days per week).
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMI) or equivalent training.
- Experience working within regulated industries and familiarity with compliance needs for marketing activities.
- Hands-on experience with PMO tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.
- Prior experience supporting product launch readiness and cross-functional launch teams.
- Strong financial awareness with experience tracking budgets and commercial impact.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop more junior project managers and contributors.
