Project Engineer - Rochdale - £40K-£50K Bonus Rochdale, Lancashire £40,000 – £50,000 Bonus Annual Pay Rises Predominantly office-based | Occasional travel We’re recruiting on behalf of a successful engineering business based in Rochdale who are expanding across all departments and seeking a Project Engineer to join their growing team. Supplying process plants, systems and equipment to a global customer base, they deliver bespoke engineered solutions and are enjoying strong sales, a full order book, and consistent year-on-year pay increases. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of complex engineering projects from cradle to grave. The Role As a Project Engineer, you’ll oversee projects from order through to customer handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, on spec, and to the highest quality standards: * Managing projects from initial kick-off through to installation and handover * Acting as the primary customer point of contact throughout the project lifecycle * Liaising closely with customers, suppliers, sales, design, production, installation, and procurement teams * Reviewing designs to ensure they meet project specifications and requirements * eading project kick-off meetings and coordinating internal resources * Managing project schedules and ensuring delivery to agreed timelines * Signing off material procurement for projects * Organising shipping, logistics, and documentation * Coordinating and attending Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) * Overseeing smooth handover and close-out of projects The Person We’re looking for someone with: * Proven experience in a Project Engineer or similar project delivery role (ideally within machinery, process systems, or capital equipment) * Strong organisational and coordination skills * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities * Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes * A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail What’s On Offer: * £40,000 – £50,000 salary * Bonus scheme * Annual salary reviews * Predominantly office-based role with occasional travel * Excellent career development opportunities within a growing business Apply Now - If you’re an experienced Project Engineer/Project Manager looking for your next opportunity, apply today or get in touch to find out more
