Overview
QC Inspector - Stoke-on-Trent (Site-Based). A leading engineering firm is seeking a Quality Control Inspector with strong inspection experience and a keen eye for detail. Travel to nearby sites (Sheffield, Hull, Birmingham) is required. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring quality across fabrication, welding, painting, and associated documentation.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct inspections across fabrication, welding, and painting.
* Perform NDT inspections (DPI, etc.) with ASME Level II as required.
* Review sub-supplier documentation and maintain organized records.
* Respond to client comments and ensure clear, compliant documentation.
* Travel to nearby sites (Sheffield, Hull, Birmingham) as needed.
What we're looking for
* Experience in quality control within fabrication/painting environments.
* ASME Level II NDT experience (CSWIP Inspector is beneficial; 3.1 not essential).
* Strong admin and organizational skills.
* Background in process systems or similar industrial settings.
