Whisky Advisor - Permanent, part-time position, 16 hours per week (Monday & Saturday working) Are you passionate about whisky and providing 5-star customer service with panache? If so, we have the opportunity for a Whisky Advisor to join our motivated team of Specialists in Whisky, Wines & Spirits at Gordon and MacPhail located in our new stunning location - The Courtyard - Johnston of Elgin. The successful candidate will ideally have/be: A passion and knowledge for Scotch Whisky and the drink industry as a whole. Confident in approaching and building rapport with customers from around the world. A clear and engaging communicator with excellent sales skills. Inquisitive, a keen learner and happy to find the solution to any problem. Flexible in your approach and able to think on your feet. Willingness to extend and update product knowledge on a regular basis. A team player with high level of dedication. Work on own initiative and under pressure, plan own workload, meet deadlines and be self-motivated. Previous experience in whisky, wines and spirits, retail or hospitality is an advantage.
