Senior Specialist Physiotherapist
Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 per annum DOE
Located in Ipswich
We are looking to recruit a Senior Specialist Physiotherapist for our private clients brain injury neurological centre in Ipswich on a permanent basis.
The centre provides rehabilitation for people recently diagnosed with stroke or head injuries and also offers support for people diagnosed with long term neurological conditions
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a physiotherapy service at senior level by assessing, implementing (by self or junior staff) and evaluating programmes of person-centred care as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
* Undertake comprehensive assessment of service users, using investigative and analytical skills to formulate individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans.
* Promote choice in all aspects of clinical practice reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the service user experience and enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by service user and their representatives
* Ensure appropriate prescription, provision and maintenance of equipment within available resources.
Requirements:
* Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Evidence of clinical skills in neurology/stroke/head injuries.
* Skilled knowledge and application of physiotherapy assessments and interventions using complex level clinical reasoning.
