The role The Health and Safety Coordinator supports the effective delivery of our Health and Safety Strategy by assisting the Health and Safety Manager in implementing, monitoring and promoting health and safety practices across the business, and by providing administrative support. This is a newly created role within the business, reporting into the Health & Safety Manager. The role is based at Stockport, but site visits/audits may be required. Responsibilities Operational Support Assisting in the coordination and execution of risk assessments, safety audits and site inspection. Tracking and following up on health and safety actions and ensuring timely resolution of identified issues. Maintaining accurate and up to date health and safety records and documentation. Compliance reporting Supporting the monitoring of compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, regulations and company policies. Assisting with preparing regular reports on H&S performance, including incidents, inspections, training compliance and audit outcomes. Heping to ensure that control measures from risk assessments are effectively implemented. Incident Management Log, track and assist in investigating accidents, incidents and near misses; Supporting root cause analysis and ensuring corrective actions are recorded and followed through. Liaising with relevant stakeholders to promote incident prevention. Training and Communication Coordinating the scheduling and tracking of mandatory health and safety training for all employees in conjunction with the Learning and Development Manager. Supporting the delivery of site inductions, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns. Promoting a proactive safety culture through effective communication and staff engagement. System and Document Management Maintaining the health and safety management system and compliance management system. Managing registers such as risk assessments, training logs (where applicable) equipment checks etc. Assisting in the preparation of H&S audits and accreditation processes. Skills and Experience Required Must have (or be working towards) NEBOSH General or Construction certificate as minimum or be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role Excellent IT skills- PowerPoint and word etc along with ability to learn new systems Be agile and able to react to changing circumstances and requests for information Experience of working with safety management systems Excellent communication and organisational skill Desirable Property management knowledge/experience desirable About us At Indurent, our mission is to serve our customers by providing space for success where they can work, flourish and grow.
