+ Engage and adhere to requirements of Preceptorship programme within specified time frame
Our Preceptorship program at ESTH helps early career midwives build skills, knowledge, and confidence as they move into their Band 6 role. Led by our Preceptorship Midwife and Education faculty, it offers tailored support to help new midwives meet clinical and professional standards.
The program includes:
+ Professional Development programme supporting progression to Band 6 Midwife
+ Specialist Midwife Leadership
+ Holistic Support: The program includes a combination of practical training, mentorship, peer support, and reflective practice, giving early career midwives the tools and confidence they need to succeed
+ Structured Learning: regular review points ensure support is tailored to individual needs
Experienced staff will benefit from ongoing professional support at ESTH. Our skilled PMA team, wider management and specialist midwives work together to promote a positive culture for career growth, ensuring all staff feel valued.
