Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience as a DB2 Database Administrator involved in Development, Enhancements, and Production Support.
* Certified IBM DB2 DBA or equivalent experience.
* Hands-on experience in DBA activities such as Data Maintenance, Authorization and Privileges management for DB2 access, Backup and Recovery activities.
* Experience in operational 24x7 support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance best practices.
* Result-oriented, customer-focused, with a healthy relationship with team members.
* At least 2 years of experience as a DB2 DBA on Mainframes.

Responsibilities include:
* Providing 24/7 Production support and solutions to application teams.
* Working with both logical and physical partitioning databases.
* Performing data refreshes in development regions.
* Participating in DB2 V10 upgrade and quarterly Disaster Recovery activities.
* Restoring databases and redirect restorations as needed.
* Managing DB backups and recovery in both standalone and DPF environments.
* Creating and supporting various DB2 objects like databases, tablespaces, tables, views, and indexes.
* Supporting Windows applications such as Philbert, WinSQL, and NLP.
* Executing disaster recovery exercises.
* Cataloging mainframe databases for open systems access.
* Resolving user issues, managing access permissions, and working with partitioned tables, materialized query tables, and views.
* Performing frequent restorations based on business needs and managing table space backups and restorations.
* Supporting DB2 tools like IBM Data Studio, Rational Manager, and Installation Manager.
* Working with Q Replication and managing incidents and changes using HPSM.
