Located in the beautiful seaside town of Dunoon, our client is seeking a manager to lead the Dunoon Operations. This family-owned business offers you the flexibility to manage your own service station within a supportive framework. As the on-site manager, you will oversee the team and the station's performance while enjoying the benefits of working for an established company. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires 40 hours of work per week over 7 days on a rotational basis. Your responsibilities will include daily banking, stock management, ordering supplies, ensuring health and safety compliance, planning work schedules, training staff, and maintaining the station's appearance and customer service standards. While some experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail environment is beneficial, it is not essential if you possess the motivation, drive, and personal qualities needed to become a great leader. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to plan and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and be capable of working effectively both as part of a team and independently. The role also involves back-office functions, including data entry (both numerical and alphanumeric) and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications. A confident telephone manner and the ability to lead by example are essential.
