THE BUSINESS
Our client specialises within the aviation & technology sector. An incredible opportunity has opened up for an ambitious and driven individual who is keen to learn and develop. This role will involve assisting with customer interactions, managing sales documentation, coordinating marketing efforts, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the sales department. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, customer-focused, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team in the Aviation and related technology sectors.
THE ROLE
16. Support the Sales & Marketing Manager in managing leads, customer accounts, and sales processes.
17. Processing inbound leads (Majority of work is inbound!)
18. Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and tender submissions.
19. Handle customer inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
20. Maintain and update the CRM system with sales data, customer interactions, and follow-ups.
21. Coordinate sales and marketing campaigns, including email marketing and social media activities.
22. Assist in organising trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
23. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
24. Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and after-sales support.
25. Generate and analyse sales reports for management review.
THE PERSON
26. Previous experience in a sales or administrative support role (preferably within a technical or B2B industry).
27. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
28. Marketing experience/knowledge. This role involves feeding information to the outsourced marketing department.
29. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
30. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
31. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
32. High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
33. Engineering experience is highly desirable. A technical mindset will really help when learning the niche range of product.
