Permanent role - 40 hours per week The Recruitment & Vetting Manager will be responsible for leading the business recruitment strategy and ensuring full compliance with screening and vetting processes in line with BS7858 standards. This on-site office based role is central to supporting staffing and scheduling requirements and will manage all recruitment systems, team onboarding, engagement, performance and team welfare Develop and execute strategic recruitment plan for each business in line with requirements with focus on peak periods Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, to ensure all in line with brand standards developing and executing recruitment strategies that align with company goals and culture to deliver consistent quality candidate experience Oversee all pre-employment screening and vetting processes in line with BS7858:2019 standards ensuring all files completed within the required timelines for preliminary limited and full checks Act as point of escalation for complex vetting issues /decision making Ensure timely hiring in line with "time to hire" and event delivery targets, managing candidate screening, and vetting processes, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality candidates are selected in line with the requirement of the business - reviewing processes as required Delivery of recruitment activity for ‘peak periods’ including planning candidate attraction strategies through social media and other channels and large scale recruitment events. Build pipelines of suitable candidates through proactive sourcing, advertising and partnership building. Monitor and review staff performance and satisfaction in first 12 weeks proactively supporting managers with any performance/conduct or welfare issues during this period. Ensure compliance with all mandatory training at onboarding and in probation in conjunction with office and compliance manager Delivery of team inductions for full time and part time team members, ensuring reviewed in line with changes to business Ensure full compliance within all aspects of the recruitment /people function, including right-to-work checks and HR legislative compliance Ensure all relevant HR administration completed including using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), HR software, and scheduling tools to manage employee records and recruitment data Supporting and managing projects to align all business areas and processes Support and drive Investors in People across the business The business is growing so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop and grow in a recruitment/generalist HR role. Requirements Qualifications CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) in HR Management/Training (essential) Mental Health First Aid (desirable) Driving license (essential) Experience Proven experience working in a recruitment /vetting management role within the hospitality, events, security, or retail sectors, with a strong understanding of working with a large workforce and high volume recruitment Experience of screening and vetting to BS7858 standard Experience of planning and delivering large format recruitment events / local community recruitment intiatives Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and planning skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experienced in working with HR and Applicant Tracking /Scheduling Systems Confident and outgoing with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Some travel will be required at times to regional offices (monthly) in addition to site visits during peak seasons which may include some overnight stays.
