Corporate Finance Manager
Hafod are recruting for a Corporate Finance Manager. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working 36 hrs per week. Hafod operate a range of hybrid options but you could choose to work a 9-day fortnight - have a day off every other week!
This role offers a salary of circa £66,300 per annum (depending on experience).

What you'll do
Lead at a strategic level on long-range financial business planning, development finance and asset management finance. Provide planning, appraisal and financial analysis services to the Group. Act as the key financial business partner to the development team to ensure robust scheme viability, funding optimisation and risk management.

What you'll need
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, qualified to CCAB standards with one of the major accounting institutions e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA and a proven track record of working in the field of financial planning and development finance. You will have worked at a senior management level previously with the experience to lead, empower and develop colleagues.
Strategic thinking and capability is a key requirement, and we are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of creating long term business plans in the housing sector. This will include stress testing and scenario planning. You should be able to show us your experience and knowledge in appraising development projects and the management of grant programmes.
Strong understanding of current and emerging financial and tax legislation is required and knowledge of FRS102, the Housing SORP and accounting direction.
