Morgan Hunt is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Asset / Maintenance Officer to help deliver an efficient, cost‑effective property maintenance service. This is a temporary post for around 8 weeks minimum.
The Role Will Involve
Key Responsibilities
* Manage reactive and void property maintenance, including inspections, raising works orders and monitoring contractor performance
* Carry out pre‑ and post‑inspections to ensure quality standards are met
* Oversee estate services including landscaping and cleaning contracts
* Support the delivery of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes
* Monitor contractor performance and manage projects to agreed KPIs
* Process alterations, medical adaptations, insurance claims and compensation applications
* Monitor budgets, authorise invoices and ensure value for money
* Support tenant safety compliance, including damp & mould inspections
Experience You Will Need Will Be
* Experience in property maintenance, asset management or housing repairs
* Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance processes
* Excellent communication and contractor management skills
* Ability to manage budgets and monitor performance
* Customer‑focused with strong problem‑solving ability
* Good IT skills and experience using asset or housing management systems
