As a Senior Support Worker, teamwork is crucial. You hold a Diploma in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification in teaching, nursing, or youth work. You have experience working with adolescents and families during times of need and possess supervisory or mentoring experience. You are also able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends. What the Job Involves The role involves providing structured, evidence-based interventions that enable families to develop problem-solving skills, resilience, and achieve positive change. Working as part of a Regional Service, you will be part of an experienced team providing flexible and responsive care packages, including respite, intervention, outreach, and family support. This role requires you to provide a rapid response to children and families in crisis to address and overcome difficulties that place the family at risk of breakdown, preventing further escalation. You will be working in various environments, including the community, homes, and centres.
