The Role: Early Years Trainer (Assessor)
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Trainer/Assessor with a genuine belief in the power of education to transform lives. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in childcare who are confident in delivering engaging, impactful learning experiences and building trusted relationships with learners and partner organisations. The role is flexible working, including being able to work from home. There will be travel involved, going around to the apprentices. You will be covered for mileage when travelling around the nurseries.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching that enables learners to acquire the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to complete their Apprenticeship Standards and vocational qualifications
* Prepare learners for End Point Assessments, using a range of teaching and coaching strategies aligned with national frameworks
* Provide personalised support, liaising closely with nurseries and employers to ensure that training meets workforce needs
* Manage scheduling, lesson planning, and administrative tasks, and maintain compliance with current education policies and procedures
* Contribute to learner success by meeting qualification achievement targets
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* A background in Childcare is essential
* A recognised assessor qualification is essential
* Previous teaching or tutoring experience within the childcare sector

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, confident presentation style
* Strong organisational and time management capabilities with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Motivated, proactive, and collaborative with a positive, learner-centred approach
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and engaging with senior stakeholders
* Ability to travel around to the various nursery settings

Pay: £14,560.00-£29,120.00 per year
