Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team, covering Manchester and the wider North West area. The role involves the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm and security systems across commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities
* Fire Systems:
o Service, maintain, and fault-find fire alarm systems (conventional & addressable)
o Carry out emergency lighting inspections, testing, and remedial works
o Ensure compliance with BS 5839 & BS 5266
* Security Systems:
o Install, service, and maintain CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
o Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and system upgrades
* General:
o Complete service reports and certification accurately
o Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts
o Manage workload independently
o Ensure all works comply with industry standards and company procedures
o Participate in on-call rota if required
Requirements
* Essential:
o Proven experience with fire alarm systems and security systems
o Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
o Knowledge of relevant British Standards (BS 5839 & BS 5266)
o Full UK driving licence
o Ability to work independently
o Good communication and customer service skills
* Desirable:
o FIA units or equivalent qualifications
o Experience with systems such as Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Hikvision, Paxton, Texecom, Galaxy, etc.
o ECS / CSCS card
o IPAF
o Commercial and multi-site experience
