Overview
We are recruiting radiographers with experience in CT, MRI, or both to work at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, part of the Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals NHS Trust. The department has 9 Canon CT scanners, 4 Siemens MRI scanners, 2 Phillips MRI scanners and an Esaote Extremity MRI scanner, with two CT scanners dedicated to the new trauma centre.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform orthopaedic, neuro, chest/body studies and specialist examinations (cardiac, angiography, colonography, ablations) on CT scanners.
* Carry out orthopaedic, spine, angio, liver, cardiac, breast, prostate, head & neck and arthrography examinations on MRI scanners.
* Use and maintain equipment from Canon, Siemens, Esaote and Ulrich.
Qualifications & Requirements
* HCPC registration.
* Experience in CT and/or MRI scanning.
* Band 5 (with training available) or Band 6 (direct entry for experienced radiographers).
* Knowledge of advanced scanning techniques.
Hours & Schedule
Shift pattern varies from 7am to 8pm, including night, weekend and bank holiday duties.
