Electrical / Electronic Engineer

Job Description:
You will be an analytical person with an understanding of technical engineering projects and electrical/electronic applications. The role requires being highly self-motivated and experienced in tasks such as feasibility analysis, design, and testing.
Education:
* Minimum HNC / HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
* Knowledge of electrical standards (UK, EU, US, etc.) for compliance
Skills:
* Experience working within ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF certified development environments
* Understanding and supporting DFMEA and PFMEA activities
* Conducting feasibility studies for new technical innovations
* Engaging with customers and suppliers at a high level
* Knowledge of CANbus and similar communication standards/protocols
* Good understanding of analogue and digital electronics
* Knowledge of connector technology and protection against atmospheric extremes
* Proficiency in drawing plans and schematics using CAD software
* Ability to test electrical/electronic control and power systems and analyze data
* Ability to document technical findings in reports and presentations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably SolidWorks
Experience:
* Sourcing electrical components, ECUs, and engine control systems
* Experience with DC/DC converters, alternators, generators, controllers, and battery charging systems
* Experience in hybrid systems technology is advantageous
* Creating Bills of Materials (BOM)
Communication Skills: Self-motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills, including personal interactions, briefings, presentations, and written correspondence.
Job-related Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, data-driven approach, ability to identify root causes, and implement critical improvements.
