Business Development Manager (Solar)
Location
Ideally based in the South East of England, near a major airport. Frequent travel across the UK and some travel to the Netherlands are required, with the remainder of the time working from home or hired office space.
Salary and Benefits
£65,000 - £80,000 + up to £20,000 annual bonus + company vehicle + additional benefits.
About the Role
1. Develop strong relationships with investors, project developers, and solar park owners.
2. Assist in finding acquisition partnerships to bring more projects to market.
3. Collaborate with tender teams on quotations to sell EPC projects.
4. Travel approximately 3 days a week across the UK and Ireland, working remotely or from hired office spaces.
Candidate Profile
1. Strong BDM or sales experience, particularly in selling EPC projects.
2. Good understanding of large-scale solar systems, including batteries, grid, and PV.
3. Flexible with travel, including once a month travel to mainland Europe; should be based near a major airport.
4. Looking for a key role within an expanding, industry-leading solar company.
