IT Project & Service Manager - Hertfordshire, hybrid Full-time, Permanent We’re looking for a GxP IT Project & Service Manager to lead the delivery of compliant, high-impact IT initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining end-to-end project delivery with portfolio oversight and service improvement. You’ll play a key role in ensuring IT solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and fully aligned with GxP compliance standards. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll take ownership of IT delivery across a range of initiatives, including system implementations, upgrades, and GxP changes, while also driving improvements in service reliability. Own end-to-end delivery of GxP IT projects Translate site and business priorities into clear, executable delivery plans Lead day-to-day execution of projects, including system implementations and upgrades Manage risks, dependencies, and issues, taking proactive action to keep delivery on track Lead cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to drive progress and accountability Ensure GxP compliance across all activities (validation, documentation, change control) Partner with Business System Managers to support reliable and compliant IT services Support release, upgrade, and change planning across the site Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices and service performance Mentor and support junior team members What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who combines hands-on delivery experience with strong stakeholder engagement in regulated environments. Essential: Proven experience delivering GxP IT projects within pharma /life sciences Strong understanding of validation, compliance, and change control Experience working closely with manufacturing sites or operational environments Track record of end-to-end project delivery (implementation, upgrade, or transformation) Ability to manage stakeholders across IT and business functions Strong risk, issue, and dependency management Desirable: Experience with portfolio or pipeline management Exposure to manufacturing systems Familiarity with IT service management / service improvement Project Management certification/s (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Scrum) Why Join?
