The Role
As a Programme Director, you’ll manage high‑profile, complex programmes involving large‑scale data migration and integration within the Life & Pensions industry. You’ll work closely with senior client stakeholders, ensure delivery excellence, and coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes.
What You’ll Do
* Lead end‑to‑end delivery of data migration and integration programmes, including post‑merger/acquisition transitions
* Define and maintain data migration strategies, plans, and roadmaps
* Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and provide assurance and escalation management
* Establish governance frameworks and reporting rhythms
* Oversee resource planning and allocation for complex programmes
* Support and mentor programme and migration teams
* Drive adoption of best practice tools and processes (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Jira)
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience managing large‑scale data migration and integration programmes
* Strong background in digital transformation and business change
* Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
* Knowledge of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
* Life & Pensions sector experience
* PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications
* Experience in financial services/regulatory sectors
* Familiarity with Microsoft tech stack
