Key Responsibilities and Expectations
* Involvement in planning stimulating activities for children in line with the EYFS
* Assist in delivering high-quality childcare with a professional and positive outcome for children and staff
* Build effective relationships with children, parents and team members
* Ensure each child's individual needs are met
* Contribute to safeguarding of all children
* Work towards Busy Bees apprenticeship standards with a designated completion timeframe
* Be enthusiastic and proactive in developing own skills
* Demonstrate commitment to continued professional development
* Communicate with the line manager regarding activities and progress
As an Apprentice, you will work with qualified staff who will support and mentor you while completing your apprenticeship. You will attend Learning & Development courses and have a Development Coach visit your nursery regularly to assess progress and provide guidance.
To apply you must be working or caring for children (voluntary or paid). A Level 2 in Early Years, Maths and English at grade C/4 or above or functional skills level 2 is desirable.
