Job Description
As a Content Designer, you will work on needs analysis, taking existing content, identifying content gaps and overlaps, etc. You will have the opportunity to run workshops with cross-functional colleagues to identify and agree content to be rationalised and archived, mapping content to different formats and audiences across our digital eco-system.
You will be collaborating closely with our eCRM and CRO teams to experiment with imagery and copy, alongside spending 50% of your time dedicated to providing our UK market with variation in deliverables of content that will run through A/B experimentation.
Occasionally, you will be expected to contribute to internal business needs based on your abilities and suitability with the Design Team’s ethos and ways of working. We welcome team members that can contribute to our growth and future planning in keeping relevant with today’s industry.
Key Capabilities:
* Collaboratively advise and lead digital teams throughout the content design process and have experience in Agile environments
* Be confident making decisions, mentoring, and leading clients whilst representing your consultancy respectfully
Job Qualifications:
Essential
* Understanding and experience working with quan and qual data to create evidence based design (and on occasions conducting your own research activities).
* Strong design background, with experience defining design systems/patterns and an understanding of UX/UI best practice.
* Affinity with creative design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch, etc.
* Ability to work across the end-to-end design lifecycle from strategy, conceptualisation, information architecture, wireframes/prototypes, UI content creation, art working, quality checking (ensuring the final product matches the initial designs).
* Workshop facilitation skills using Design Thinking/ Human Centred Design or similar techniques to elicit innovation solutions that solve customer needs.
* Appreciation of technology constraints and opportunities.
* Handling client relationships, particularly the ability to understand clients’ needs and challenges.
* Circa 5 years of experience in Customer Experience and Digital Transformation.
Desirable
* Design system knowledge.
* Experience completing user research.
* Service design experience
Responsibilities
* Make sure appropriate content is shown to a user in the right place and in the best format.
* Produce content based on user needs, user research, and business or policy requirements.
* Visualise your work in context to show clients any changes or proposals you’ve made.
* Engage with key stakeholders to understand their views and apply their expertise while advocating for the user.
* Collaborate closely with other teams (functional and technical) in the delivery of user-centered content
* Demonstrate your expertise by showcasing your work to the wider team for reference.
* Record design decisions and iterations in a design log.
* Apply a strategic approach to content design, taking into account business issues/events/activities, and their long-term implications
* Supports Head of Digital Design on the user experience in our digital product development with:
* Leading the design workstream within Customer Experience projects.
* Managing relationships with client stakeholders.
* Refinement of our core offerings by providing expertise and keeping up to date with the latest trends.
* Working with senior practice members to support business development activities.
* Building thought-leadership to help position Atos’s brand in the marketplace.
* Coordinating the transfer of knowledge and skills across the team, sharing best practice.
