DCUK FM Asbestos Operative

We are currently seeking an Asbestos Operative to join our dedicated team, covering the London area.

The Role
Your role as an Asbestos Operative will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their asbestos issues. Key responsibilities include:
5. Performing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning within the Utilities Sector.
6. Adhering strictly to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and the DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.
7. Following directives from the Asbestos Removal Supervisor.
8. Ensuring proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, immediately reporting any malfunctions or defects.
Requirements:
9. 1+ years experience removing asbestos is advantageous
10. Full UK Manual Driving Licence is preferred but is not essential
11. Asbestos Awareness Training is preferred but not essential
12. A can-do attitude, and the ability to use your own initiative
13. Great communication and customer service skills with a keen, enthusiastic and friendly approach
14. You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
