Overview
The Geotechnical Sub Alliance (GSA) is a key part of the Sizewell C nuclear power station project on the Suffolk coast, responsible for preparing the ground for construction through specialist geotechnical works such as piling, diaphragm walling, soil mixing, and grouting. Working within a collaborative alliance model, the GSA delivers safe, efficient, and high-quality ground engineering using advanced techniques and specialist equipment. The Plant and Service Administrator focuses on supporting the day‑to‑day administrative duties at Sizewell, including assisting with the processing of site requests across all Sizewell sites.
Responsibilities
* A key administrative role supporting the Plant Team in the coordination and documentation of all plant servicing activities across GSA geotechnical sites.
* Assist the Service Coordinator in processing Purchase Orders.
* Ensure accurate records are kept, support scheduling and compliance, and facilitate communication between service teams, site personnel and parent company departments.
* Assist Plant Team with scheduling and tracking of maintenance and breakdown activities.
* Liaise with welders, electricians and fitters to ensure tasks are logged and completed.
* Assist in preparing service reports, performance metrics and audit documentation.
* Assist in onboarding new plant assets and updating service databases.
Qualifications
* Work with Finance Department to help with record‑keeping accuracy and supporting information to provide to the client.
* CSCS Card.
* Knowledge of asset hire industry or plant operations.
* Clear drive and ambition.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels across the organisation and externally.
* Ability to communicate and engage with site personnel and develop good working relationships.
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety.
* Experience in delivering best practices in equipment safely.
Desirable
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft software).
* Previous use of plant service management systems i.e. InspHire/CMMS.
