Job Description: Key Responsibilities To support the team deliverables, that utilise your expertise to ensure successful outcomes across team members and collaborating teams : Provide clear and transparent work objectives, milestones and success metrics in your area of expertise to oversee and co-ordinate successful team outcomes. This role is part of the Digital, Data and Technology Profession in the Civil Service- Principal Technical Architect. As part of department, you are responsible for a peer reviews, chairing of forums and the collected responsibility to educate across domains in a range of architectural arenas. Key Outputs and Deliverables A principal technical solution architect which will provide technical leadership and architectural design for Ofgem's Salesforce and Mulesoft architectural landscape. Deep skills in Salesforce and Mulesoft including development and implementation of Cloud transformation strategies. Make balanced decisions in the technical architecture direction of Salesforce through technology strategies, frameworks, standards. Drive standardisation of Salesforce and Mulesoft through technology standards, guidelines and principles. Maintain a Salesforce implementation vision which allows the continued use of common data and software components so that Ofgem can achieve the true benefit of single source of customer and contact relationships. Be able to demonstrate and perform the critical thinking required to evolve the Salesforce platform as well as each product which will reside on it. A principal technical Salesforce and Mulesoft architect leads at the highest level and is responsible for making sure the strategy is agreed and followed. Essential Criteria Experienced at designing and assuring Salesforce and MuleSoft technical solution architectures in support of digital programmes and projects. (Lead criteria) Demonstrable experience in both application and platform architecture. (Lead criteria) Strong understanding of Salesforce and MuleSoft architecture including integration with Azure and the life cycle of application development. Capability to support and provide guidance to product design teams to allow for compliance of platforms architecture principles. Knowledgeable and experienced with at least two public cloud solutions coupled with a broad understanding of the range of technologies available.
