Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving and possess excellent communication skills. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers, while maintaining a high level of customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety and adherence to all driving regulations.
Duties
This a a Monday to Saturday round with a start and end location of Bridgend
You will be responsible for collecting the vehicle from our warehouse already loaded to a device assigned to you and completing the deliveries the same day, then returned the vehicle back to the warehouse ready for the next day
Van including insurance and fuel is all provided for you
Full training will be provided

* Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
* Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered.
* Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
* Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns during the delivery process.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
* Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience with driving is advantageous.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is beneficial.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
