Position: Children's Waking Nights Support Worker/Carer (Full-Time)
Location: Walsall (WS4). Ideal candidate must be able to drive.
Hours: Full-time - 8.00pm - 8.00am.

We are seeking Children’s Residential Support Workers who are passionate about providing high-quality support that fosters learning, development, health, and a fun, fulfilling life for young people.

Experience in this role is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills
* Experience working with children
* Ability to drive
* Knowledge of childcare practices
* Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans
* Basic IT skills
The role
* This role involves managing challenging behaviors with our residents.
* You will provide practical and emotional support, empowering young people to achieve their goals, respecting their individuality, and enabling appropriate choices aligned with their support plans. You will also complete various records and documents.
* You will facilitate social, educational, recreational activities, and support maintaining contact with families or significant others.
* The role includes household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, shopping, and supporting young people with personal care and hygiene.

About The Service
Bluebell House is a new 6-bed children’s home in Walsall supporting children with learning and/or physical disabilities.
It features breakout spaces, activity rooms, a sensory room, lounges, and personalized bedrooms with children’s input, aimed at enabling children to reach their full potential.
