Job Title: Member Care Assistant
Job Overview: As a Member Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service by organising your work and completing required checks in a timely manner ensuring a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the club. You will report for duty on time, adhere to departmental personal presentation standards, and submit time off requests as per department guidelines. Attending planned learning sessions and organising work tools efficiently are key to ensuring top-notch customer service. Being aware of departmental standards, goals, objectives, and performance is essential to your role. Roll will include either early morning or late evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean, prepare, and review the club public areas and any back-of-house areas to the defined standard.
* Ensure a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in all areas of the club.
* Maintain a safe and secure environment for yourself, guests, and colleagues.
* Respect the privacy of others and adhere to the company's security, operating process, and environmental policies.
* Organise work to deliver excellent customer service and complete required checks on time.
* Complete and record relevant quality/safety checks in line with company procedures.
* Report for duty punctually and in line with departmental presentation standards
* Attend planned learning sessions as required.
* Ensure work tools are organised for effective customer service delivery.
* Support club reception/operations when required.
* Be proactive in acknowledging all members in a timely and appropriate manner..
* Demonstrate awareness of customer priorities and anticipate their needs.
* Respond to all guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Ensure activities always consider the health and safety of members and colleagues, with appropriate warning signs displayed where you are working.
* Provide constructive suggestions and feedback to the leadership group on product, process, or learning delivery improvements.
* Apply yourself fully during team training and briefing exercises.
* Always deliver your 'fair share' in team task elements of the role and support colleagues whose workload may temporarily exceed your own.
* Engage with every club and team member.
* Adhere to Brand and Company standards.
* Actively represent the club at all times.
* Act on member problems by either dealing effectively with the issue or seeking assistance from your manager or supervisor.
* Actively seek feedback and check on member satisfaction on a consistent basis.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS - In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the General / Hotel Manager based upon the particular requirements of the company.
* Provide training to other hotel team members on department procedures, standards and principles, as needed.
* Participate in Brand Culture Programs, Health and Safety Committee etc.
PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIANCES
* Previous Cleaning experience essential
* Experience working as part of a team
* Pool Attendant / Responder/ Lifeguard - Desired but training can be provided
* First Aid at Work - Desired but training can be provided
