Job Description

Job Title: Production Coordinator
Location: Essex (EN9)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £37,000 starting; upon successful completion of a 6-month probation, salary increases to £40,000

Brook Street is currently working with an exciting Essex based company on a Production Co-ordinator role. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities on site. You will work closely with the Production Manager, yard, transport, and sales office teams to maximize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Track stock and raw materials, conduct inventory audits, and maintain accurate reports of purchases and pricing

2. Support production activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely outputs

3. Liaise effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients to maintain seamless operations

4. Utilize inventory management systems (Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP) to monitor stock and operations

5. Participate in monthly stock takes, which may require working one Saturday per month

6. Respond to machine breakdowns and other operational issues as needed

7. Maintain high standards of customer service, organization, and time management

Skills and Qualifications:

8. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)

9. Proficiency with Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP

10. Good literacy and numeracy skills

11. Strong Microsoft Office skills

12. Manual dexterity and physical fitness

13. Full driving licence and forklift licence

14. Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills

15. Leadership, self-motivation, reliability, discretion, and diplomacy

16. Ability to work under pressure and maintain impartial judgment

17. Team player with excellent organizational and time management abilities

Working Hours and Conditions:

18. Shift between 6am - 4pm (flexibility required based on business needs)

19. Paid 45-minute lunch breaks

20. Stock take once a month (1x Saturday)

21. Time in lieu for overtime worked

Benefits:

22. Company pension (employer contributes 4%, employee contributes 5%)

23. Bank holidays off (may require work depending on business needs)

24. Annual pay increases and yearly bonus (dependent on company performance)

25. 20 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)
