A£25,353 per annum
Hours: 8am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Commutable from Beverley, Driffield, Market Weighton, Cottingham, Goole, Scarborough, or Bridlington.
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is recruiting for an office-based customer service professional eager to develop their skills within a growing company in Driffield, East Riding.
The Role
Customer Service Advisors handle a variety of customer requests, assisting with orders via inbound/outbound calls and emails. The role requires efficient, professional communication tailored to customer needs. You will leave customers with a positive impression, perform routine and complex transactions, and deliver excellent service across all services. Regular training will be provided to enhance knowledge in product and service areas including stock processing, transport, production, sales, and telesales.
Advisors are expected to handle customer queries across the company and identify opportunities to grow accounts by increasing sales. Good IT skills and adaptability to new systems are essential, along with adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
1. Identify customer needs, resolve issues, and direct inquiries appropriately.
2. Process customer orders efficiently via phone.
3. Participate in ongoing training and highlight training needs to the manager.
4. Record customer interactions accurately and identify system or procedural issues.
5. Promote quality service, resolve complaints, and escalate issues as needed.
6. Maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and managers.
7. Engage with changes to improve service delivery and customer experience.
8. Handle routine and complex queries professionally, following escalation procedures.
9. Work within a structured schedule, promoting safety and participating in sales campaigns.
10. Manage customer data securely, complying with data protection legislation.
Knowledge and Skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet-based systems, and CRM.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Ability to upsell and process orders with a professional telephone manner.
* Calm under pressure, quick learner, attentive to detail.
* Good organizational skills, positive attitude, and commitment to diversity.
* Understanding of data protection and adaptable interpersonal style.
Experience
* At least 2 years in a front-line customer service or telesales role.
* Experience with CRM systems and processing customer orders.
