Role: HR Generalist - Permanent - Derry/L'Derry Job Overview VANRATH are delighted to partner with a returning client, to appoint an experienced HR professional who will manage and support all HR activities across the Company, ensuring effective processes, consistent policies, and a positive working environment that supports business performance. Up to £35,000 Full time, Permanent Office based What you'll do: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent application. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including preparing job descriptions and advertisements, shortlisting applications, coordinating interviews, and making appointments. Lead the onboarding process by conducting reference and right-to-work checks, processing new starter documentation, issuing offer letters and contracts, and delivering induction training. Plan, organise, and deliver training and development programmes for staff, supported by ongoing training needs and skills analysis to create tailored training plans. Oversee absence management and employee relations matters, providing guidance and support where required, and support performance management processes to drive staff development and organisational performance. Manage payroll administration with accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate employment records and complete the Company's fair employment monitoring return, as well as assisting with health and safety responsibilities as required. Undertake any other duties necessary to support the effective running of the HR function. What you'll need: 2 years' HR experience in a similar role. CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent). Experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. Competent in payroll administration and HR record-keeping. High attention to detail and accuracy.
