Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Greater Nottingham. As a Lead Project Engineer, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex refrigeration system projects. Responsibilities include designing technical solutions, managing project timelines, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards. You will lead project teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide guidance to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
* Technical skills in refrigeration systems design, installation, and maintenance; knowledge of advanced temperature‑controlled solutions is a plus.
* Project management expertise, including planning, execution, and problem‑solving for engineering projects.
* Strong leadership and team coordination abilities, with experience managing cross‑functional teams.
* Proficiency in technical documentation, report writing, and communicating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently on‑site and manage multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment.
* Familiarity with industry safety standards, compliance protocols, and use of relevant engineering tools and software.
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications such as PMP are an advantage.
