To provide effective engineering services to the production team and respond to demands in a timely fashion. To maintain equipment proactively and reactively, ensuring factory performance meets targets and KPIs. To improve equipment availability and performance to meet OEE targets through identifying and implementing improvements.
To proactively use the PPM System (SAP) for capturing all engineering labour and parts.
Shift Pattern:
4 on / 4 off, 05:30 to 17:30 / 17:30 to 05:30
What you will need:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Electrical).
* Qualifications recognized in the UK.
* Literacy/Numeracy at National Level 2 Standard.
* Deliver quality and accuracy in your work and standards.
* Able to cope under pressure and adapt to peaks in workload.
* Able to anticipate and identify problems and use available resources to provide effective solutions.
* Able to act with urgency when making decisions.
* Strong personal and interpersonal skills.
* Good written and spoken English.
* Experience in the food processing industry is desirable.
* Experience with poultry processing machinery is desirable.
* Knowledge of lean techniques and processes is desirable.
* Experience with automated machinery is desirable.
* Computer literacy is desirable.
* 17th / 18th Edition Qualification or equivalent is desirable.
* Industrial experience is desirable.
* Knowledge of PLC systems and fault finding is desirable.
* SCADA system knowledge is desirable.
