ZYTCA is a fast-growing vet-tech start-up revolutionising veterinary diagnostics through rapid in-house PCR panels and AI-driven pathology. As we expand across the UK and beyond, we’re looking for a versatile, proactive Veterinary Nurse to join our Oxford-based team in a hybrid role that blends customer service, internal operations and sales support. What You’ll Do You’ll report directly to our Sales Manager, but work closely day-to-day with our CEO, CSO, and senior scientists and vets — gaining exposure to every part of our innovative business. This is a developing role with real scope for growth, so we’re looking for someone eager to learn, contribute, and evolve with us. Your responsibilities will include: Customer Service & Technical Support Responding to client enquiries and troubleshooting PCR kit usage Providing warm, professional support across phone, email, and chat Liaising with veterinary practices to ensure smooth onboarding and usage Stock & Lab Operations Managing inventory of diagnostic kits and lab consumables Coordinating stock levels, deliveries, and reordering Supporting day-to-day lab logistics and documentation Sales & Outreach Support Cold calling and scheduling meetings with veterinary practices Assisting the sales team with lead generation and follow-ups Preparing materials and coordinating demos or training sessions Team & Office Support Jumping in wherever needed to keep the lab and office running Supporting internal projects, SOP updates, and team communications Requirements Veterinary nursing background with a passion for diagnostics and innovation Strong customer service skills and a friendly, solution-focused attitude Comfortable with computers and basic software tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM) Experience in stock management or lab logistics is a plus Experience or knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 a bonus Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with a fast-paced team A proactive mindset and genuine desire to progress within the company Benefits A fun, flexible, and mission-driven team culture Full training provided - we’ll support your growth every step of the way Opportunity to work at the cutting edge of veterinary science and technology £300-£500 CPD annual allowance Up to two days/annum paid CPD leave Availability to attend key industry events such as LVS etc. £25–£32k annual salary, depending on experience 5 days per week on-site Core hours 9–5pm, with flexibility 25 days bank holidays annual leave
