Data Engineer (Denodo)

Hybrid remote working – (occasional on-site workshops in either Telford or Sussex)

Up to £465 p/d
An opportunity is available for a Data Engineer with Denodo expertise to join a delivery-focused team working within a government-aligned environment. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach.
You will play a key role in delivering integrated data views across connected systems, supporting data migration, and contributing to automation and data processing solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong Denodo experience, including:
* Virtual Database (VDB) performance optimisation
* Query delegation and caching strategies
* Security models, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
* Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
* Strong communication skills and proactive working style
* Good commercial awareness and ability to work within delivery-focused environments
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with client stakeholders as part of a collaborative delivery team
* Deliver base and integration views across multiple connected systems
* Build and optimise data pipelines to support data migration activities
* Develop, test, and support automation and code solutions
* Perform complex data transformations and processing using appropriate coding languages
