You will be part of a dedicated and collaborative team delivering street lighting services within a civil engineering environment. The role focuses on supporting the planning, delivery, and implementation of lighting and electrical works.
The ideal candidate will

Support the planning and delivery of street lighting maintenance, renewal, and upgrade works, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and budget requirements.

Assist with the development and application of procedures and processes that support the effective operation of the street lighting network.

Work alongside technicians, engineers, and contractors to ensure street lighting works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
*
Coordinate with internal teams to align street lighting activities with wider civil and infrastructure projects.
*
Contribute to monitoring network performance and identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational outcomes.
About you
You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You are organised, adaptable, and able to manage your workload effectively across multiple tasks and projects.
Ideally, you will be able to tick off most of the below:

Experience in street lighting or electrical works, including installation, maintenance, or upgrade projects.

A strong understanding of health and safety requirements and the ability to work in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

Knowledge of modern street lighting technologies, such as LED luminaires, lighting control systems, or smart infrastructure solutions.
*
Ability to engage with stakeholders and communicate clearly, including through digital platforms where required.

An interest in emerging technologies, industry developments, and best practices within street lighting and civil infrastructure.
