About the Role
You will take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, guiding pupils through this important stage of their primary education. With SATs preparation and transition to secondary school ahead, the school is looking for a confident and nurturing teacher who can provide both academic challenge and pastoral support.
You will be supported by an experienced leadership team and collaborative year group colleagues who value teamwork and shared best practice.

* Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Preparing pupils for SATs assessments with confidence and care
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and purposeful classroom environment
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively
* Providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
* Contributing to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
* Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment expectations
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A warm, approachable, and professional manner
* Commitment to high standards and pupil achievement
