About the Role We're seeking a passionate, creative, and adaptable Food Technology Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4 students. This role offers the chance to bring learning to life through engaging, practical lessons that develop essential life skills and confidence. The timetable will also include a number of Art lessons at KS3, giving the successful candidate a chance to inspire creativity and self-expression alongside practical learning. Key Responsibilities : Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Food Technology lessons for KS3 and KS4 students Make use of the school's state-of-the-art Food Tech facilities to create hands-on, interactive learning experiences Teach some Art lessons at KS3, encouraging creativity and personal expression Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with a range of abilities and learning styles Work collaboratively with LSAs, SEN staff, and therapists to provide consistent and individualised support Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment About You Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (Food Technology specialism preferred) Have experience teaching KS3 and/or KS4, ideally within a special or SEN setting Are passionate about inclusive education and hands-on learning Are flexible, empathetic, and creative in your teaching approach Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, student-centred team Interested?
