Job Title: Oracle Simphony Support Consultant

The Role
You’ll be the go-to expert for Oracle Simphony POS support, working closely with IT, operations, and external vendors. Your focus will be ensuring system stability, managing low-level configuration changes, and helping push out updates across our estate.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 2nd/3rd line support for Oracle Simphony POS issues across the business.
Carry out low-level configuration tasks (e.g. menu updates, price changes, UI layout tweaks).
Coordinate and push configuration changes and updates across multiple locations.
Monitor POS system health and performance; identify and resolve technical bottlenecks.
Collaborate with IT infrastructure and service desk teams to triage and escalate issues.
Liaise with Oracle and implementation partners where needed for bug fixes and upgrades.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and change logs.
Assist with rollouts of new venues, upgrades, or system integrations (e.g. payments, kitchen display systems).
Requirements
Proven experience supporting Oracle Simphony POS systems (cloud or on-prem).
Hands-on experience with Simphony configuration—ideally within a multi-site environment.
Familiarity with EMC (Enterprise Management Console) and reporting modules.
Basic understanding of networking, databases, and hospitality tech stack.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a detail-oriented approach.
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with OPERA PMS or Oracle Hospitality integrations.
Exposure to API-based integrations (Simphony Web APIs, payment gateways).
Background in hospitality, restaurant, or leisure environments.
