The service provides support to children and families in the community, focusing on functional independence, developmental support, and tailored therapy interventions in line with national best practice. Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Community Paediatrics Team. The successful candidate will deliver physiotherapy assessments and interventions to children with a range of physical and developmental needs, working collaboratively with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive paediatric physiotherapy assessments within a community setting Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to support developmental and functional goals Work closely with families, carers, and education providers to ensure a coordinated approach Advise on equipment needs, postural management, and mobility support Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records Contribute to service improvement initiatives and support junior staff where appropriate Key Requirements: HCPC-registered Physiotherapist Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy Advanced experience working in Paediatric Physiotherapy Broad experience across core junior rotations Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and developmental milestones Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills Ability to work independently in a community-based setting Additional Information: Full-time hours: Monday to Friday Community-based role - access to a vehicle may be required Immediate start available How to Apply: Please send your updated CV to or contact us on 0333 121 20 10, quoting reference AA/10116/PTB6 .
