About The Role
We are growing our electrical division to meet the increasing needs of our expanding business. To help us achieve this, we are looking for a Mobile Electrician to work within our team in the Bridgend area.
Within this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment between branches and customer sites across the south region in a safe, professional, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have practical electrical engineering skills and experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with participation in an on-call rota, which can vary depending on business needs.
Applicants must hold an ECS Gold Card or possess the relevant qualifications or experience in Electrical Installations to obtain one.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Carry out electrical installation work in accordance with current I.E.E Regulations for Electrical Installations and Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
* Maintain, install, service, and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and customer units, adhering to legislative standards.
* Produce reports and estimates for repairs and advise on safety issues as necessary.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping in work areas and vehicles.
* Adhere to all Risk Assessment/Method Statements.
* Communicate effectively with managers, internal and external customers, and stakeholders regarding business and customer expectations on timelines, quality, and service levels.
* Work independently, managing own workloads and call-outs.
* Attend call-outs as part of a rota, approximately once every six weeks.
Qualifications:
* JIB Qualified Electrician with the ability to meet ECS Gold Card requirements, including 18th edition.
* Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided).
