Inbound Operations Manager - Parts Distribution

The role:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll be responsible for all inbound activity across a busy distribution centre, managing everything from container arrivals and goods receipt to putaway, space management, and supplier issues.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the inbound team and setting daily priorities
* Ensuring timely, accurate booking-in and stock handling
* Liaising with suppliers and hauliers to coordinate deliveries
* Driving process improvement across receiving, QC, and putaway
* Working closely with inventory and purchasing to flag discrepancies and shortages
* Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld at all times
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment
* Strong understanding of parts, inventory, or technical products
* Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-SKU environment
* Confident using ERP or WMS systems (ideally barcoding/scanning)
* A hands-on, solutions-focused approach - someone who can spot an issue and sort it
* Based in or commutable to Sheffield
