Our client,a leading logistics and supply chain company, is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Delivery Driverto join their team based in Harlow. Successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations in a Class 2 vehiclewhile ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for multi-drop deliveries and collections.
* Must be able to lift heavy items. Majority of loads will be furniture.
* Adhere to scheduled delivery times and routes.
* Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
* Ensure goods are loaded and unloaded securely, with proper handling techniques.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
* Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers.
* Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Ensure compliance with all driving legislation, including tachograph rules and road safety laws.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license.
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* Previous experience in a similar driving role as a Class 2 Driver.
* Valid DBS
* A strong understanding of UK road networks and transport regulations.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Benefits:
* Competitive pay rate of £19.34 per hour. overtime pay after 48 hours is £29.01 per hour.

Working Hours:
* Full-time, typically Monday to Saturday
* 4 day rolling rota
* Must be able to work a minimum of 2 Saturdays a month.
* Start times between 5-6 am
